This advanced Generative Design course will explore the ways in which code-based tools, technologies and techniques are impacting the rapidly expanding field of typographic practice. Students will create dynamic typographic systems using modularity, data visualization, and code-based operations, culminating in a set of tools that integrates dynamic, code-based typography into a contemporary graphic design project.
Recommended to be taken in tandem with GTRA-303 Type 5: Transmedia.
