Introduction to Generative Design is a foundational course that explores the use of code-based tools to create dynamic visuals, multi-sensory experiences and data-driven graphics. Students will learn the basics of code through a series of design-centric demos that are largely visual in nature. As students gain an understanding of code, exercises of greater complexity will be introduced, culminating in an innovative, future-forward project that seamlessly integrates code-based practices into a graphic design context.
