This course explores the intersection of business and professional arts endeavors. It supports gaining a basic understanding of arts administration, strategic planning, project management, marketing, budgeting, fundraising, and leadership in the arts and creative industries, equipping students with skills to manage arts organizations. The goal of this class is to provide an understanding of how sound management practices can strengthen the arts.
