Type 3: Context builds on the foundational skills developed in Type 2: Structure by challenging students to apply their typographic knowledge to more complex and content-driven projects. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between form and meaning, as students consider content, context, and audience to drive their design decisions. Through a series of assignments that explore long form text and image integration, students refine their ability to construct visual hierarchies, organize information, and communicate with clarity and intention.
