Comprehensive study of the social, economic, political and formal complex cinema of Robert M. Young. Analysis of cinema in the tradition of auteur study and how students can change hearts and minds within their own filmmaking approach.
After researching and pitching issue-provoking subject matter (i.e. about race, environmental, gender, LBQTIA), students will be required to write an outline for their groundbreaking film with 15 pages written as their final.
