TRAN-471A: Visual 8

This course, connected with the Design 8 class, provides students with guidance and support in producing highly sophisticated 3D visualization of their Senior Thesis projects. Focusing on creative storytelling describing vehicle use-case scenarios, students will explore a range of animation techniques, including 3D animation, 2.5D effects, and CGI integration, utilizing various software tools. The curriculum emphasizes seamless composition of digital vehicle designs with environment creation, moving human figures, lighting, texturing, and animation principles, leading students from initial storyboarding to final animations. By the end of the course, participants will produce a compelling animation deliverable that maximally showcases their vehicle design project.
