Building on Communication Design 3: Narrative & Scale, Communication Design 4: Identity Systems empowers graphic design students to build compelling, purpose-driven brand identity systems through market and audience research, definition of a basic strategic approach, and thorough visual exploration. The resulting term-long project will demonstrate a vision for how the brand can cohesively exist as a multi-sensory experience across touchpoints. By the end of the course, students will have created a complete brand identity system-including logo design, realistic application examples, and graphic standards guidelines-along with a professional-level presentation package for client or stakeholder. This is a foundational course required for all Graphic Design students.
