This course explores a holistic approach to designing experiential and interpretive environments through the lens of emerging technologies and ambient media. Students will investigate how people perceive and move through space, using tools such as projection mapping, interactive systems, sensors, and spatial audio and lighting to shape meaningful visitor experiences. Emphasis is placed on crafting compelling narratives and takeaways that unfold through physical, graphic, and digital modalities. The course highlights the multidisciplinary nature of spatial storytelling and the evolving role of technology in creating impactful, immersive environments.
