Advanced Printmaking expands students' technical and conceptual understanding of print as a medium for visual expression. Building on foundational skills, this course focuses on techniques such as Intaglio, Intaglio with soft ground and Chine Collé, Photogravure (both copper and polymer), and Lithography (stone and plate). Students will generate and translate ideas effectively across varied print media with emphasis on critical research into historical and contemporary print practices. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate deeper technical proficiency and conceptual clarity in their printed work.
