ILL-101: Illustration Now

Illustration Now This class is workshop based and teaches through a hands-on approach, which guides the student to an informed understanding of the wide range of applications and future creative careers that an Illustration education at ArtCenter provides. At the end of this course the student will have knowledge of the complexity of this creative field and be able to make an informed decision as to which track in the Illustration curriculum is of most interest and relevance to their skillset and personal approach. Workshops will be supported by group discussion, skill exploration and refinement, guest demonstrations and informational presentations. All workshop activities and participation will be graded. There will be no homework assignments. Students will be able to select a Path of Study within the Illustration curriculum at the end of class.
