This interdisciplinary undergraduate course explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the design process, welcoming students from All majors. Through hands-on engagement with tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Vizcom, Runway, and others, students will apply AI for ideation, visualization, storytelling, animation, and rapid prototyping. With a strong emphasis on co-creation, the course positions designers not just as makers, but as curators of intelligent systems-guiding, filtering, and refining AI-generated content to align with intentional design goals. Students will explore how to bring authorship, ethics, and human-centered thinking into workflows that increasingly involve machine intelligence. By the end of the course, students will develop a portfolio-ready prototype or animated concept that demonstrates their ability to collaborate with AI while asserting their human voice.
