Emergency Procedures

For on-campus emergencies, please listen for instructions on how to proceed. Some emergencies will require you to remain where you are and some will require you to evacuate the building. Instructions will be provided through our campus-wide Public Announcement (PA) system or in-person by security or college officials.

Do not evacuate a building or campus unless instructed to do so (unless there is imminent danger). Many times you will be safer inside during an emergency.

Report emergency situations

Campus Security at 626 396-2211 or extension 2211 from a campus phone for any on-campus emergencies.

9-1-1 from any phone for any off-campus emergencies.

It is important to call Campus Security's emergency number while on campus because anyone responding to a 9-1-1 call will check with Campus Security when they arrive on campus to determine the location of the emergency. If you call 9-1-1 directly, please let Campus Security know you have called and where you are located so they can direct any responders to your location. Please remember you will have to direct any responding personnel to your location.
